It is a pleasure to announce the upcoming international scientific conference "Viruses 2018 - Breakthroughs in Viral Replication", sponsored by MDPI, the publisher of the open-access journal Viruses. This conference will bring together leading virologists from around the world to share their recent findings on a range of topics related to mechanisms of virus replication, structure, transmission, pathogenesis, and antiviral immunity. Viruses 2018 follows the very successful conference "Viruses 2016: At the forefront of Virus-Host Interactions" held in January 2016 in Basel, Switzerland.
Highlight of this 5th edition: it will be organised as a one-day Satellite Workshop of the 42nd Annual International Herpesvirus Workshop (IHW 2017, July 29-August 2, 2017, Ghent)
